Today, I welcomed CPS students at La Salle II on the 1st day of school and I distributed school supplies to help students kick off a great academic year. I also presented Principal Albani with the first $5,000 check contribution from Smithfield – the neighboring developer-to fulfill their promise of assisting the school with much needed funds. I’d like to wish all students, teachers and academic administrators a successful school year!
